Live Mesh is one of the earliest cloud services by Microsoft when it was launched in beta last 2008, making it the Microsoft’s main platform for cloud storage, file synching, and remote access. But the time comes that the company don’t know what to do on Live Mesh. Now, Microsoft has a cloud strategy, but the Live Mesh is not included, and then finally makes an announcement that they will officially retire and close Live Mesh on February 13, 2013.
